BLOSSOM IS FOR CHILDCARERS AND TEACHERS

At Blossom we understand the pressures on the childcare industry and those who work in this field. We know that a desire to meet the needs of every child has to be met with the reality of being able to effectively and safely support those in your care.

With 40% of children now suffering from allergies, the ability to understand allergic conditions, and deal with sudden or severe symptoms is fast becoming an essential part of childcare.

The reality is, that many children are excluded from certain activities, or childcare centres because the structures are not in place to enable carers to deal with the issues that childhood allergy poses.

At Blossom we believe that these children are missing out on valuable opportunities for learning and experiencing social interaction when they have to be excluded. We aim to support all those working in schools and the childcare industry, to enable them to provide an environment where childhood allergy sufferers can thrive, and participate in as many activities as possible.

On this website you will be able to access information on:

In addition to this information, Blossom will be making accessible resources and guidelines for club leaders, teachers and childcare professionals to put in place their own policies and procedures for management of childhood allergy.

Blossom seeks to enable the childcare industry to provide the best possible services to children and their parents. That's why we aim to provide you with all the resources you need to support children who suffer with allergies, and to enable you to care for every child's needs.
