Ben's Family needed Blossom.
"Our allergic journey began when Ben was a tiny baby; he began having breathing problems almost from birth. He became breathless when he was feeding or even bathing and playing.
At three months he had his first asthma attack, was admitted to hospital, and was tested for milk allergy. Ben was indeed allergic to dairy foods coming through breast milk. It took almost three years before we had a full picture of the foods Ben was allergic to.
As I learned more about allergies and how to recognise them I began to suspect it wasn't just the baby who was affected. Eventually the whole family was tested and a picture emerged of an atopic family with many different allergens and aspects of allergic disease involved, including asthma, eczema, perennial rhinitis and food allergies.
For me, and many other parents I have spoken to, after the initial relief came fear."
